It is reported that the world population would increase to 850 crores by 2030 and it would be more than 970 crores by 2050 and the global population would have crossed 1040 crores by 2100. The UN Report also claimed that the average age of humans at present is 72.8 years which has raised by 9 years as compared to 1990. And the average age of humans would have increased to 77.2 years by the time 2050.

In the report, it was also stated that woman lives an average of 5.4 years more than men. The average age of women at present is 73.4 years. United Nations released this annual World Population Prospects report which also states that the global population is increasing at its slowest rate since 1950, as mentioned above.
