Let’s start with the aim of this Ahir Community’s protest. According to the source, Ahirs are demanding a separate regiment for Ahirs in the Indian Army. To put their demands in front of the government Ahir community is protesting. As a result of the protest, many roads and highways will be jammed and closed. As per the reports, commuters who will travel toward Delhi on NH8 will have to take an alternative route on Friday. Commuters coming from Jaipur can take a diversion from Pachgaon Chowk and head on to the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal KMP expressway. The other diversions and alternative routes have been mentioned in the police advisory.

The police advisory for the commuters reads, “Those commuting from Manesar to Gurgaon or Delhi may take a U-turn from the Givo cut near the Kherki Daula toll plaza and then take the Southern Peripheral Road to the Golf Course Extension Road. People traveling from Gurgaon or Delhi to Jaipur may take the diversion from Rajiv Chowk to Sohna and then the KMP route. Similarly, those commuting from Gurgaon to Jaipur may take the diversion from Hero Honda Chowk to Pataudi Road,”
